It's just an economic slow down.

This one seems to apply as much now as it ever did.

Except now, they want our houses too.

Hey, Vikki! I luvs me some John Cougar, John Mellencamp, John Cougar Mellencamp, Johnny Cougar or WHATEVER he's calling himself these days, LOL! ;o)

"Rain On The Scarecrow" is one of my hubby's favorite songs.

I've just got this gnawing feeling that things are gonna get a lot worse before they get better in this country, and really the whole world.

With that cheerful thought, I'll try to wish you a blessed weekend. ;o)

Love and hugs,

Diane

My great-grandfather was a farmer. The only one of his descendants who followed him into that line of work was a grandson. That worked for him for a while, but not really for long.

I went back to Illinois when my grandmother was dying. Driving around, we saw a lot of farmland, including Grandpa's old farm. It's all farmed by corporations now.

But of course you all already knew that.
