Ain't Life amazing?

I'm making an attempt at making Linguicia Sausage tonight. We'll see how that goes!

Today was a difficult day. We found out that our beautiful, sweet Gibson has a 3.5
Tricuspid Valve Displasia. That means a massive heart murmur. The best hope is that he could live for 1-3 years. I may not have all the specs totally right; but I know that he won't be around for much more than 3-5 years at best.

We're definitely keeping him.

We will not let him suffer.

I love him already.

It's like if you have a child, you have a commitment. With any luck, Gibson will have a wonderful life.

I am here to try to ensure that.

Good thoughts and prayers are most welcome.

:]

Mommy I'm so sorry about Gibson but he picked the perfect family. Lots of love to go around

Aw, I'm so sorry, V. But sometimes with good care they do live much longer, though there's no guarantee of that. Just make the most of each day, that's all anyone can do, and lavish all that Mama love on him.

Love and hugs,

Diane

Oh, Vikki, I'm so sorry, but I was going to say just what NameChanged did. It's such a good thing he has you. Otherwise, he wouldn't get those 1-3 or more years.

I am sure that whatever time Gibson has, he will be most happy with you.

Now about that sausage...

Vikki, I am so sorry to hear about Gibson's diagnosis. We are kind of in the same perdictament with ours. What are you going to do once they have their hooks in your heart?

How was that earthquake yesterday? Glad it was only a little one.

Thanks for all the nice comments on my road to improvement posts.

Have a great day. Raining buckets here. Yuck. It would be okay if I didn't have to go to work and could stay home.
